Being in Pretoria for 3 years coming from Natal, last week was the 1st Time I ordered Beef and Mutton that I was happy about. Amazing taste and enough meat and Potato. From now on my Go to Restaurant. Thank you Tandoori for bringing Natal food Closer to us. Regards.. Sean.

Delicious food, big portions, and well worth the money! We will become regular customers. The service is also excellent. I definitely recommend the butter chicken and garlic naan, absolutely yummy! My husband loved the beef bunny chow. The meat was tender and delicious!

A very nice authentic Indian restaurant, really good food and lots of options on the menue. Mild is not spicy at all, so any one can enjoy the food with the option of spicing it up if you prefer. Overall I like the atmosphere, music is soothing and plesant, waiters are well mannered, my wife noted that she thought it would be nice if the lighting was slightly dimmer to add to the ambiance. (Edit)*I see in pictures that sometimes the lights are dimmed and it definitely enhances the atmosphere. Glad to have found this restaurant and will definitely be visiting or ordering take away from them again. Update - have gone back and learned that on some days they serve a buffet so if you not sure what to have, then you can have a taste of all the different meals at a very very reasonable price. As I have said, the food is not spicy, but they do have a hot sauce that you can ad yourself, but just a warning this is HOT use it sparingly, ad a bit at a time do not mix it into everything like I did.

Solid quality Indian cuisine at a competitive price compared to the very few main Indian players in Pretoria. Just one bit of constructive criticism - when allowing Ubereats, please revamp your packaging, as it arrives a mess. (Pics).

This is the best Indian Restaurant that we've been to in the whole of Pretoria East! We absolutely love the butter chicken & the chicken biryani, they are some of the best we've ever had! We also know that the prawn korma and chicken curry are to die for! If you love Indian food- and you haven't been here- then you're missing out! They are on many delivery apps and the in restaurant experience is definitely highly recommended! *Review edit a year later* We visited Rasam for a their Sunday buffet and we were pleasantly surprised! The buffet is a reasonable R120 per person and they offered a variety of 6 different dishes as well as starters (samoosas and other yummy things). They also had pudding available. We'll definitely be returning for the buffet since we loved being able to taste their different dishes without having to order them all. The buffet starts at 12.
